For the Morbid Obesity Under New Construction Show
Here on Real Coaching Radio

With the obesity crisis growing in every way and every age group in the country, resolution seems slimmer every day. Nothing seems to be working. Doctors, trainers, nutritionists, therapists and other "experts" offer the same good advice... 'get healthy, eat less, move more.' Why isn't it working? Why am I still so fat? If I deduce the obvious answer, then I must accept there is something wrong with me and the bevy of gaining others because we are not able to get healthy.

Morbid Obesity -- Under New Construction is the new talk show on Real Coaching Radio Network beginning Friday, October 17, 2008 at 11:30 A.M. Mountain Standard Time which will address this problem in a groundbreaking way. This show will be the first forum for fat people to repower to discover the answers we've been seeking.

We need a place to be honest, where we will be heard. This show will create support that cannot be tainted by feelings of shame and being a victim or at the mercy of someone who claims they can help. Join us. Jump up. Let's get real and get strong. Let's figure it out together. We might think it's about losing weight, because that is going to be the symptom, just as gaining all this morbid fat is the symptom of something bigger. We're going to learn how to undo it together because we are the real experts. We have the experience. There is nothing wrong with us. There is an answer and we experts can make the discovery when we unite with the same goal.

About Me:
I didn't know I would feel so young in my 50s. But here I am. And guess what? I'm still learning and growing. I always thought my first love was writing, but I'm discovering that it's all about communication. Formally, my education focused on writing, magazine production and journalism. I enjoy good discussions and hearing new and differing opinions, so I try to stay open to all possibilities. Of many ideas, only some of them have been proven. One of the better ones was the world's softest dog bed – the Poochi-Koochi.

I live at the base of the Mission Mountains in Montana. I’ve lived other places, but nowhere big. I share my life with four grown sons complete with women and children of their own, good friends, a special sister, two moms and two little dogs.
